During International Communication, my (former) company opened offices in China, so I chose that opportunity to redesign the corporate site for a Chinese audience. I chose the Partners page, because it provided graphics
to experiment with while requiring me to work with text, as well.
Sadly, as I mentioned on the Customers' Page, the company has since acquired another, changed its name, and closed the
Atlanta office, so my academic efforts will never find their way to fame on the World Wide Web. Still, it was an excellent choice. Designing
for China is challenging and contradictory to my western instincts. Stepping outside the box was exactly what I had in mind, and it worked
perfectly. |
